In what may not come as a shocker to anyone, Motorola has confirmed that the adware-friendly, Amazon-Prime Exclusive Motorola Moto G4 will not have unlock codes available. This means that the locked bootloader on the device will continue to remain locked officially, unlike the Motorola devices. This move is likely to retain the integrated advertisements on the device, because of which the device was subsidized in the first place.
