Corning, the company behind the Gorilla Glass technology, has unveiled the successor to its previous cover glasses. With the new Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the company claims that the new glass can withstand about 80% of drops from a 1.6m height onto rough surfaces. This is a big margin when compared to the competitors and an improvement from its predecessors.
