There have been reports that Google hasn’t been happy with the revenue Nest has brought in since it was acquired back in 2014. It’s unclear if this is the result, but Tony Fadell has announced he will be parting ways with the connected devices company. Marwan Fawaz will be stepping up as the new CEO of Nest, & Tony Fadell will remain as an adviser to Alphabet.
