We’ve been hearing about Android’s Nearby APIs since the middle of last year and now it seems Google is ready to launch the feature. Android will now notify you of different apps and services if you are near one (assuming you have Bluetooth & Location on). This can be a passport app to help you bypass the customs line, or about a Google Cast/Android Wear device.
