YouTube’s director of product management, Shimrit Ben-Yair, says her team thinks more people would share videos if the feature was streamlined into the company’s mobile application. So this new feature will let you share a video with a friend of yours (who also has a YouTube account), and then you can discuss the video or even reply with another video of your own.
