Xiaomi had originally planned to announce and launch the successor to their Mi Band wearable alongside the Xiaomi Mi Max on May 10th. This is no longer happening as the CEO of Xiaomi has announced the device will be delayed. On Weibo, Lei Jun says the Mi Band 2 has been more difficult to manufacturer than expected and that it’ll be pushed back a month.
