NVIDIA has just announced a new OTA update for their original NVIDIA Shield Tablet. This update includes Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, support for the new Vulkan API, USB MIDI support, memory compression enhancement, and improved Wi-Fi connectivity when waking from sleep. The update includes March’s Android security update and fixes things like the compass, gamepad mapper, Doom 3 HDMI output, and trouble with moving apps to SD card.
