Google’s Benson Leung recently stated that he couldn’t recommend the LG G5 or the HTC 10 because they used both USB Type-C and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology. He was under the impression that a phone could not implement USB Power Delivery as well as Qualcomm’s QC 3.0. As it turns out, this is wrong and a review from +GTrusted shows LG has implemented both in the G5.
