Just last week we told you about reports of Intel cutting 11% of its workforce as well as cancelling major projects aimed at mobile products. Analyst Jan Dawson from Jackdaw Research believes Intel invested “well over $10 billion” in an attempt to make the company relevant in the mobile industry. This data comes from a 2014 report of $7.4 billion in losses, along with projected estimates into 2016.
