Instagram is changing its icon and app theme with a recent update. The update changes the retro polaroid icon that became synonymous with Instagram to a more colorful icon. The app theme is now muted with a black and white design for backgrounds, icons and menus; with the intention being to give better focus to subject photos rather than the UI of the app.
