As of December 31st, 2015, Huawei has been able to amass over 50,000 patents thanks to the company’s investments into research and design. This will be the first time Huawei has sued Samsung over patent infringement and they’re doing it by filing multiple lawsuits (in both the United States and China) over “4G cellular communications technology, operating systems and user interface software in Samsung phones.”
