Google Summer of Code 2016 has Begun

Now that the community bonding period has ended, the 12th annual Google Summer of Code has officially started. About 1,200 students will now begin creating code for 12 weeks as they write for 178 different open source organizations. To date, this program from Google has helped create over 50 million lines of code for these open source organizations.
