For multiple iterations of Android, Google’s screen saver type feature has been called Daydream. This activates when your device is plugged in or sleeping but in Android N Developer Preview 3, this is being renamed. Thanks to the Daydream VR platform, the new name for Android’s screen saver feature is… Screen Saver. So now people won’t get confused when talking about Android’s upcoming VR platform.
