OnePlus Co-founder Carl Pei took to Twitter, asking the twitterati if they would like to see a comeback for the Invite system (even though the system never really went away). Carl also mentioned that “This feels much better in the hand than the OnePlus One!”, which most likely points to the metallic build of the OnePlus 3.
