There’s been speculation about an upcoming Qualcomm SoC with the model number MSM8998. Current rumors have said that this chip will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830, but there hasn’t been any credible sources that can back it up. Whether or not it will be the next flagship SoC from Qualcomm, this chip is now being listed in Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile minimum hardware requirements documentation.
