Which Phone Under $200 Would You Recommend Right Now? Why?

It is flagship season for Android, but not everyone looks forward to spending so much money on a phone that they may not end up using in its entirety. For a lot of people, a low end phone does all the functions that a flagship does at a much lesser cost.

That being said, recommending a low end phone at this time of the year is very difficult as compared to recommending a flagship. The low end market is always flooded with cheap Chinese phones, but for the most part, choices seem very limited. Getting a good all-rounder on a limited budget is akin to searching for a needle in a haystack. And to make decisions more difficult, older choices are no longer as relevant due to the quick hardware obsolescence in the low end. So we ask,

What low end phone (under $200) would you recommend right now? Which manufacturers are your go-to choices for recommendations in the low end space? What set of specs would you expect out a low end phone (processor build, RAM, storage etc)? Are there any low end phones that you look forward to?
