The first round of bids for Yahoo’s web assets are due on April 11th and Verizon is reportedly in talks with three financial institutions so they can place their bid. Verizon believes the company’s core business is worth $8 billion so they’re going to need to figure things out before they can bid. Bloomberg is also reporting that Google is currently considering a bid as well.
