Sprint needs financial help, and they need it badly. To remedy this situation, the company has entered into a transaction with “several bankruptcy remote entities” known as Network LeaseCo. Sprint has sold off “certain existing network assets” to this company for a grand total of $2.2 billion and is leasing them back so they can stay in business.
