The government isn’t happy with how Apple handled the recent encryption issue and now they’re trying to prevent it from happening again. Senators Diane Feinstein and Richard Burr have just submitted a draft bill called the Compliance with Court Orders Act of 2016. If passed, this would punish companies for not storing encryption keys and it would stop punish developers for making encryption without a backdoor.
