For Huawei to overtake companies like Samsung, they’ll need to offer alternatives to what they sell. This is where the Huawei VR comes into play. It’s essentially a Samsung Gear VR, but made for the Huawei P9, P9 Plus and the Huawei Mate 8. The displays on these devices are only 1080p, so images won’t be very crisp, but it offer a 360-degree sound field.
