Huawei announced that they were partnering with Leica to produce the camera module on the Huawei P9. However, yesterday a Chinese website reported that the module was not actually made by Leica. Today, Huawei and Leica have issued a joint statement re-iterating their collaborative effort on designing the camera module on the Huawei P9.
