With 2015 done and over with, Google has been able to assess the year and publish their annual Android security report. Google says they checked over 6 billion apps per day, scanned 400 million devices per day and protected hundreds of millions of Chrome users from harmful websites in 2015. The company also reduced data collection by 40%, spyware by 60% and hostile downloaders by 50% from apps in the Play Store.
