In a blog post earlier today, Google has announced the addition of Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) to the Google News and Weather app. At the top of the page you will now find a carousel filled with the most important headlines of the day. Clicking on any of these headlines will load the AMPlified article blazingly fast. Otherwise, AMPlified articles are indicated with a lightning-bolt icon.
