Toward the end of the last year, Facebook launched a more-optimized version of their Android application. They made it 25% smaller and load 30% faster thanks to a tool they were using that they were calling ReDex. At the Facebook F8 developer conference, the company has announced the project is now open source for all to use. You can check out the GitHub link here.
