Back in 2013, Canada’s competition bureau announced it would be investigating Google to make sure it wasn’t exploiting its dominance in search and advertising. That antitrust investigation has come to a close as the Commissioner of Competition has determined that Google’s algorithm changes are in the best interest of the user and not to exploit a company or an advertiser.
