While the feature is still in development and rough around the edges, Mozilla has released DevTools Reloaded. This is a new add-on is meant to help developers reduce the barrier to entry by eliminating some pain points for large open source projects. This will also help reduce the compile times for large code bases, which is another thing that can deter new developers from participating.
