Internet Explorer Security Update Actually Brings Ads Instead of Fixes

Microsoft has pushed a security update (patch MS16-023) to Internet Explorer that instead contained a generator for Windows 10 advertisements for Windows 7 and 8.1 users. The update is meant to “lets users learn about Windows 10 or start an upgrade to Windows 10.” This is yet another new low for Microsoft’s intrusive Windows 10 behavior.
