Verion 8.0 of Hangouts has been leaked and this update comes with support for new features built into the Android N Developer Preview. Not many changes have been made if you install this on Marshmallow or below (although there are sure to be some in there), the big change comes with Android N. You’ll now be able to respond to Hangouts messages from within the notification shade.
