Google Announces an Android Security Advisory in the Middle of March

Android Security

We usually only hear about Android security patches from Google once per month but this case calls for special attention. There’s been a vulnerability discovered in the Linux kernel that was fixed back in April of 2014 but wasn’t called out as a security fix and assigned. Google has patched this vulnerability in the AOSP repository for kernel versions 3.4, 3.10 and 3.14.
