The 4$ smartphone by Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd., Freedom 251, was a rebranded Adcom device, which originally was retailed to Ringing Bells for Rs. 3,600 ($55) per unit. There was no reselling agreement in place, and hence, Adcom may take legal actions.
