In 2015, there were 42 million digital media streaming devices throughout the entire world. Of those 42 million, Strategy Analytics says Chromecast had 35% of the entire market. The report says Apple has shipped 37 million Apple TVs since 2007 but Google is catching up fast with 27 million units shipped in the last 2 and a half years alone.
