ZTE’s Spro line-up has always featured a rather odd combination of products. For the Spro and Spro 2, you get an Android-based mini-projector with built-in hot-spot capabilities (assuming you bought the LTE model from one of the major carriers). ZTE is spicing things up this year by essentially offering a full-fledged Android tablet into the mix. The Spro Plus features an 8.4″ 2K resolution display, with a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GBs of RAM, and the choice between 32GBs or 128GBs of onboard storage. ZTE has thrown in a 12,100 mAh battery which is a marked improvement over the Spro 2’s 6300 mAh battery capacity, and it even comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. The WiFi version of the device is slated for a Q2 2016 release, with the LTE version expected sometime later. You will have the option to choose between a gold, black, and silver variant. We don’t have any details on the price just yet, but expect it to be upwards of $400 based on the pricing of previous Spro models.
