Qualcomm has just announced their first system on a chip that is dedicated for wearables. The Snapdragon Wear 2100 promises to support sleek designs, long battery life and smart sensing capabilities. Compared to the Snapdragon 400, it’s 30% smaller, uses 25% less power, it’ll have a ultra-low power sensor hub and also have a next-gen LTE modem with integrated GNSS, along with low power Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
