As promised by NVIDIA, the SHIELD Tablet can now be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The update brings with it a slew of new changes, including a new camera app, Google Now on Tap, the ability to link micro-SD cards with your internal storage, and all the other Marshmallow goodies we’ve come to appreciate such as Doze mode and permission control. The update will slowly roll out over the next few days, so expect it to hit your tablet soon.
