Microsoft has announced a new partnership with hardware manufacturer Acer. This means that select Android smartphones and tablets from Acer will now have applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive and Skype pre-installed. This will be similar to what we saw with Samsung last year and it brings the number of hardware partners Microsoft has to 74.
