In a move that makes Pichai the highest paid CEO of a publicly traded company, Google has just awarded the newly appointed executive $199 million worth of restricted stock. Sundar wasn’t the only executive to receive a stock bonus this week either. Diane Greene, the head of Google’s cloud business, received $42.8 million in restricted stock and CFO Ruth Porat received equity worth $38.3 million as well.
