DisplayMate had previously said the Galaxy Note 5 had the best smartphone display they had ever tested. Now that the Galaxy S7 is out, the company has done a shoot-out with it and they say it “leapfrogs” the Galaxy Note 5. The results show the S7 matches or breaks records for Absolute Color Accuracy, Peak Brightness, Contrast Rating in Ambient Light and Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle.
