The Gear S2 has a way for you to send a message, but the downside is that you must have a notification waiting for you to tell you that you have received a message. A new application from XDA Member tipztv will solve this if Samsung approves it on the watch’s app store. The application currently supports WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Hangouts, Line, KakaoTalk, Skype & Viber
