In what appears to be a surprise to the company itself, Tag Heuer has had to ramp up the production of the $1500 Android Wear smartwatch called Connected from 1200 pieces per week to 2000, due to the demand from retailers for the timepiece. Also, to maintain an exclusive air, online sales will be halted to give preference to the physical store experience.
