A report out of China suggests that Samsung has been meeting with low-end to mid-range OEMs to discuss what it will take for them to start using AMOLED panels in their products. Cost seems to be the biggest reason why they haven’t adopted the technology yet. So in response, it is being reported that Samsung will drop the price of AMOLED panels by 20% next year.
