Nielson collects data on more than just TV shows. Among other things, they also study the mobile market and today they released their list of the most used smartphone applications of 2015. Facebook wins this by far with its 126+ million unique users, and they also have Messenger and Instagram on the list too. Google owns 5 of the top 10 including YouTube, Google Search, Google Play, Google Maps and Gmail.
