At XDA there are a few things we place a strong emphasis on: 1) Open Source, 2) Privacy, and 3) Security. FreedomBox is a project/tool which looks to meet all three and such a tool could come in handy for those like Mathew who recently traveled to the Great Firewall. In light of the recent revelations of the failures of Juniper to protect customers, an open source tool like this could really come in handy and should be on your Holiday wish list.
