Just a day after Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 820, Samsung has announced the Exynos 8890. The SoC will be built upon 14nm FinFET process technology and features the company’s first custom designed CPU based on 64-bit ARMv8 along with ARM’s latest Mali–T880 GPU. If leaked benchmarks are a hint of what this thing is capable of, Qualcomm has a tough hill to climb.
