Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 2 was a runaway success when it launched in some countries back in August, packing an FHD 5.5″ screen, 2GB of RAM, a MediaTek Helio X10 processor 13MP and 5MP cameras, and running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, all at an affordable price tag. Yesterday, Xiaomi made a move to capitalize on its success by going on to launch the device in four additional countries – Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan – priced at RM649, S$229, HK$1099 and NT$4999 respectively.
