XDA Recognized Developer flar2, the person responsible for the popular ElementalX custom kernel, has just discovered a a way to enable double tap to wake on the Nexus 6P. It’s unclear if this will effect battery life just yet, but it does sound like users could have the option to enable this if their custom kernel supports it.
