Intel hasn’t had the easiest time breaking into the mobile market but they aren’t stopping anytime soon. FreedomPop has teamed up with Intel to launch a smartphone in 2016 that is optimized for WiFi and is powered by an Intel SoC. The manufacturer of the device is unknown right now, but FreedomPop says they are “well-known”.
