The developer of the Chromecast application, LocalCast, took to reddit to explain why their application is no longer available in the Google Play Store. It seems that Google had sent them an email saying they believe the app is not eligible to use the REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS permission. The developer has applied for an appeal and if permitted, we could see it back in the Play Store within 72 hours.
