Google Play Services 8.3 Brings Improved Sign-In for Apps

Google’s new Sign-In API has removed requirements for device permissions for access to accounts on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The new Play Services makes use of this to improve the sign in experience for apps that need a Google account for functioning. Signing in into apps requires lesser clicks, is more intuitive and less invasive by default.
