We saw LunarG demo their low-overhead graphics API earlier this year with some impressive results. Today, the company has announced that LunarG will be splitting in two. The desktop team will continue working on the PC end to support the Windows and Linux desktop SDK. However, the mobile team has been hired by Google and will now start working on Android.
