Not all USB Type-C cables are equal, and some of them aren’t using the proper hardware that limits the amount of amps the phone asks to draw from the charger. We’re seeing this right now with the current OnePlus cable and adapter and there are lots of others that do the same. This application will detect if the cable is good or bad.
